WORK PROGRESS

To start the project, I have to search for teammates in the same tutorial session with total members of 5. We are then required to submit out member list to the lecturers for them to start assigning us a fruit or vegetable. The fruit that we got was passion fruit and we are required to bring one to tutorial for the assignment drawing.

We divided ourselves into 2 parts, one for orthographic drawing while another for sketching. We took photos of the fruits with different views, but they all looked the same. We also bumped into problems midway in the tutorial session where the teammates were confused who was doing what, and the contrasting styles of every individual's drawing skills.

I tried to match the sketches drawing of the fruit to look similar in style as possible, while those who has weak drawing skills are to sketch out the basic shape of the passion fruit. Then, we moved onto the section view of the passion fruit and gave those are excel in drawing to draw the insides of the fruit.

We then complied and arranged all the drawings onto A2 boards, written down the requirements needed in the boards and pass it up on time in the tutorial session.

REFLECTION

At the completion of this assignment, I have learnt how to manage time wisely to finish the drawings within a allocated duration. Not only that, I am also able to communicate with new teammates and try to work within out strengths and weaknesses.

In conclusion, I had a clearer picture of being consistent in drawing skills and styles to have an overall similar look of the drawings and sketches of our fruit.
